Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian actress and television presenter. Her most well-known work is the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her career in showbiz early. Her roles included lead characters in TV dramas as young at the age of 16. Her critically acclaimed role in the made-for-television film Der Tunnel paved way for many other noteworthy roles, including Secretary to Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge from the critically and commercially successful Oscar nominated war-time drama film Downfall. The Reader is another Oscar nominated movie featuring this actress. Alexandra is well-known for her participation in a variety of notable projects, both in the United States and internationally. This includes the British biographical feature Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. She also served on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
