Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks (born April 15 1997) is an American actor who is best known for playing Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of the historical drama on AMC's Mad Men. In addition to receiving critical praise, her work on the show garnered six Emmy Awards nominations in the category of best supporting actor. In her career till now that spans more than twenty years, she's also become known for her work in the legal drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime drama series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. Some of her films include Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers - Prey at Night Egg and American Woman. In addition, she has provided her voice for animated films like From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 or Scoob! The career she began with was modeling and continued for years until her debut as a TV actor in Undressed, a 1999 television show. The show gave her her first recognizable role as a character in the comedy show Beggars and Choosers. Following this, she won praises for her role in Firefly. Esquire magazine awarded her with the distinction of being the sexiest and best-looking American woman for 2010 in their annual poll.
